On March 28, Nanjing Iveco’s new product Iveco Star will start pre-sale today. The new car is a multi-purpose, multi-scenario model that is intelligent and efficient. The car is equipped with SAIC's 2.0T diesel engine and is available in 5-, 6-, 8- and 9-seat models, as well as low-roof and high-roof body heights. In the light commercial vehicle segment, similar models of Iveco Juxing include Ford Transit (RMB 126,400-219,100), SAIC Maxus Xintu V70 (RMB 138,800-201,600), etc.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a streamlined body structure design, and the frameless front grille adopts a gradient-sized diamond grid design. The appearance style is different from the design language of Iveco brand models currently on sale. At the same time, the Juxing side windows adopt a stepped shape, and the second row of sliding side windows is optional, which can bring a good sense of transparency.
Iveco Juxing can provide four seat layouts, namely 2+3 style 5-seater, 3+3 style 6-seater, 3+2+3 style 8-seater and 3+3+3 style 9-seater. According to Nanjing Iveco, all Juxing series are equipped with LED automatic sensor headlights as standard, and depending on the car model, it can also provide reversing radar, ESP electronic body stability control, second-row electric boarding side steps, etc.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of Iveco Juxing are 4998/2030/2035 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3000 mm. At the same time, in order to compete with potential competitors, Juxing can also provide a high-roof version, and it is expected that models with different wheelbases will be launched in the future.
In terms of power, Iveco Juxing is equipped with a new SAIC π2.0T high-performance diesel engine with a maximum power of 150 horsepower and a peak torque of 375 N·m. It meets the National VI b emission standards and has a fuel consumption of 7.4 liters per 100 kilometers.
