XEV YOYO comes from XEV Youyao Technology, a domestic new energy vehicle technology company. The company was founded in 2018 and is a new energy vehicle technology company facing the global market. It provides urban New travel energy products and energy network services.
XEV YOYO is XEV Youyao Technology’s first pure electric vehicle for urban travel. The vehicle will be launched in the European market in May 2021. Because the roads in many cities in European countries are very narrow, this mini scooter can swap batteries. It is particularly popular there. So far, nearly 10,000 units have been shipped. The cumulative revenue in Europe has exceeded 100 million euros. In the first half of 2022, sales will break into the top ten of the same specification category in Europe.
XEV YOYO reduces the molds used in traditional automobile manufacturing and truly achieves flexible production customized on demand, reducing vehicle development time and cost investment. At present, XEV Youyao Technology has realized the 3D printing of door panels, front faces and tail wings, and is still in the process of unlocking the "printing" of various car parts.
Appearance introduction:
This time, the XEV YOYO we photographed is the European version, which will be somewhat different from the version sold domestically in the future. The design of YOYO's car is 100% derived from Italy, and its appearance design is distinctive. The polygonal dot matrix front grille and the rounded rectangular shape on both sides of the front bumper are full of technology.
The irregular-shaped headlights and vertical turn signals enhance the design of the front face. In terms of lighting configuration, the car is equipped with LED daytime running lights and halogen headlights with lenses, which are in line with the standards expected for this class. 
The charging port is located at the front of the car and only provides a slow charging interface. At the same time, the car also comes with a set of 230V portable charger, which can be adapted to a conventional three-pin socket for emergency charging.
Coming to the side, XEV YOYO adopts a two-door design, and its compact body structure is also very suitable for transportation in the city. The black doors highlight the shape of the cockpit and look very futuristic. The fluorescent green decorative parts on the car door are 3D printed parts. In the future, users can DIY auto parts according to their personal preferences, making travel customization scenarios truly practical.
XEV YOYO adopts 15-inchinch aluminum alloy wheels, the rim shape has a low wind resistance design. The manufacturer stated that in the future, the car's rims can also be adapted by 3D printing various shapes of rim covers according to customer needs.
In the rear part of the car, the black integrated plexiglass trunk cover occupies most of the visual focus. When paired with the gray body, it creates a good sense of future technology and also reduces the visual center of gravity. The taillights adopt a transparent and blackened design, and are shaped like two upright UFOs, which is quite interesting.
Open in the middle of the rear bumper is the XEV YOYO battery compartment, which contains three magazine-type lithium iron phosphate batteries. The three batteries can be taken out and replaced in sequence using professional tools to achieve the fastest way to replenish energy. This is another highlight of the car's battery replacement function. However, according to the manufacturer, this feature may not necessarily appear on domestically sold models in the future.
Interior design:
In terms of interior design, XEV YOYO is mainly simple and practical, using the method of cutting out the shape to expand more internal space and provide convenient storage space for passengers in the car. The fluorescent green decorative panel is a highlight, as it can also be customized in the form of 3D printing.
A leather strap is used on the door panel instead of the traditional door handle, which not only saves space but is also very innovative. The same goes for the storage compartment on the door panel, which uses eight rubber bands to form a simple storage space.
The car is equipped with a 7-inch LCD instrument, on which vehicle-related information is displayed intuitively. The factory is equipped with a mobile phone holder on the right side of the instrument panel, which is an interesting and practical little function. 
The three-spoke steering wheel does not have multi-function buttons and leather wrapping, which is in line with expectations. However, the steering wheel does not support any angle adjustment. It is hoped that improvements can be made in future domestic models.
The seats adopt an integrated design, and the driver and passenger are prepared to adjust them manually. The fabric of the seats adopts a honeycomb pattern, which matches the design elements of the entire vehicle. The roof uses two canopies to increase the transparency inside the car.
In terms of space performance, an experiencer with a height of 183cm adjusted the front seat to the lowest position, and the headroom was more than 1 punch, and there was also a certain amount of room for the left and right legs.
Since the car is only a two-seat layout, there is still a certain amount of space in the trunk.
